Taken at Downhill Beach on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. The rock formations are wonderful on this small stretch of beach...the lower parts are washed by the Atlantic and are light in colour but the upper bits retain their natural dark basalt look. Inishowen Peninsula (Donegal) is in the distance. There was a slight burn-in of the upper part of the print but I wanted to retain a fairly light sky to complement the rock.

Wonderful depth and details. A very well done classic landscape.

Very moody and plenty of texture. What's not to like!

Beautiful!
The balance of the darker rock and lighter sky works really well for me.
