This is a beautiful scene, Michael. The sky has the quality of ‘mother of Pearl’. I take it that there was a fairly long exposure required, which has blended the subtle movement of the clouds. The horse in silhouette is a great addition to the composition.

Thank you both. Alex, I was just fortunate with the light: the conditions were also very still. Printing the negative was uncomplicated, except that I didn't get the water as I wanted until the third go.
