For this round I’ve printed a photo of this rather tall bush with small white flowers of which I couldn’t find the name.
Michael, the recipient, thought it could very well be a Prunus, and I think he's most likely right.


I’ve taken this photo to test the semi-macro functionality of my Canon EF 28-105mm lens and was not disappointed with the result!


Printed on Ilford's MGIV Portfolio paper, selenium toned in Moersch MT-1 (1+9).

Well understand that you are not disappointed. It is very good. Quite interesting that it works so well, though the direct background of the lightend flower is not dark, but flurry. Very good depth of field as in your image last round, Sebastiaan.

This looks great, Sebastiaan. The lens clearly works well in macro. The plant was a good choice of subject. It has worked well in B&W.
