Taken from just behind the (highly recommended!) Dores Inn, at the north-eastern end of Loch Ness. It was one of those crisp, autumn days about a fortnight ago and I was kicking myself for not bringing any colour film when I spotted the remains of the old jetty. Glad I had b&w now! Apparently this is one of the best places to see the monster. I’m told it’s most regularly seen around 11pm on a Friday!

A very nice quiet scene. It reminds me strongly of L Wakatipu here in NZ, nut the mountains are not as high.
