Taken in nature reserve "Huis ter Heide" near my village.
The grass in this area was flooded with water due to high amounts of rainfall and it froze up. Most likely the cattle that live here have walked over the frozen ice, breaking it, and then the broken pieces froze up again.

The contrast helps enormously and the shot wouldn't be as strong without the wind turbines, in my view.
