Very nice Dave! On my monitor (which is somewhat calibrated to a few different online step wedges) it looks like you 'nailed' the highlights. Living on the coast I shoot and print a LOT of moving water. I'll usually print all highlights bright enough to just about match the paper base so that with dry-down and eye-down, the highlights will still remain bright enough when the image is displayed in average household light. Is that how you're determining your highlights? I'm not sure there'd be much you can do to lighten the surrounding shaded rock outside of either using a flash, some tricky dodging or having over-exposed the neg a bit and a softer development. It looks like a very high contrast scene.
