Excellent use of shapes and very atmospheric in the wet conditions. This reminds me of the challenges we may have to face at Cwmorthin! Good adverse weather work.

Some scenes only look their best in such conditions. I suspect this is one of them.
Has a look of the "Heathcliffe" school of photography. Sombre and deep.

Richard, are you putting together a portfolio of such images? I remember ‘Fisher Tarn Dam’ had the same dramatic tones.

Thanks for the comments. I wasn't consciously amassing dark gloomy images but the weather hereabouts can be quite conducive to them. I did actually make an even darker print from this negative, almost a silhouette, but felt that was getting a bit _too_ sombre
