It looks suitably isolated from this side. Difficult to believe there is a whole town just below the castle on the other side.

I think your control of shadow detail is excellent against that sky, a real sense of isolation. Did you consider printing the sky darker - I might have, but then the balance of the print might not be right if you did?

Graeme, I didn't consider printing the sky darker - I did think the top right was too bright but then figured the bright pool to the lower right needed a sense of the sun been there - if that makes sense. If I hold my hand over the top part the sky seems too grey. Thanks again.
