I like it Vincent. It reminds me of a piece in the current exhibition we are hosting at Streetlevelphotoworks.

Me? Like it? No ... LOVE it!
I like the dark moody feel and the shadow is a neat surprise!

Thanks everyone for your comments. JP – I can see where my shot could remind you of the other persons work.
My shadow shot was taken from beneath a water slide at one of those ‘Water World ‘centres. I stood under the slide and photographed the swimmers as they slid down towards the pool. This was one of the few shots that I captured with a complete figure.
The landscape was taken on the coast of Connemara in the West of Ireland

''I stood under the slide and photographed the swimmers as they slid down towards the pool.''
That dilutes my comparison of the shadow on rock somewhat Vincent. But makes me like your shot even more....great timing !!
I was also under the impression that this was infra-red film, which would have tied in with the title of said exhibition.....''Revealing The Invisible''.
Sorry if I got that wrong.

JP the landscape portion of my photo was taken using Kodak HIE film and the water slide was taken using Ilford FP4.
Thanks again for your comments and a Happy Christmas to you.

An intriguing image. I like the counterbalance between the reality on the left and the mystery on right.

This is a very interesting shot! If it weren't for the title, I wonder how long it would have taken me to realize I was seeing a shadow of a person. I love the grain and the textures.

Thank you John & Vicki, I'm glad you like my shot. It was hard work to produce in the darkroom and this is the best version that I achieved.
