Yes it was, I took some digital ones as well although I haven't tried converting them to b+w to compare them with the real ones!

It works very well with lovely light and strong wash back on the wave - nice one :-)

The original is MUCH smoother and creamier and more to my taste.
The grain is so fine, almost non-existent, it's hard to believe it's only 35mm!
Oh, and the printing is flawless.

I'm pleased you like it Marty, thanks . Actually I forgot to scan the print before I sent it so the image here is a scan of an RC proof I made earlier (as they say). I think it's a slightly higher contrast than the final print.
I didn't do any sand patterns on this occasion Carl - I have done many in the past and never really been satisfied with any of them. I'll have another go one day I expect.
