It certainly makes an effective picture, I do like it. You need to enlarge to appreciate the full effect, it is simple but works so well.

I have the original and it's very well made indeed. What I like is that you can view it in any light and it still works, the shadows do not block up and even in bright light the clouds are well separated from the sky. This to me is a sign of a good neg and a well made print, not easy to do and requires a good deal of skill.


There is a subtle warmth from the paper and developer combination that suit the subject matter and the use of a panoramic format suits the subject matter extremely well.


Definitely one of my favorite prints from these exchanges.
