A lovely print that looks better in the flesh than the scan, lovey tones and a nice warm feel to the print, Thanks Steve,

I have this shot in colour. A muted colour print from a Agfa colour neg I think. Actually I think I prefer it in B&W having seen yours Steve.
Mine was also taken in January but on a more typical Jan day(gloomy) in terms of L'pool weather. Mine was Jan 2004 or 2005 and there was no large shed like building there.
What is it?

Thanks Richard, Mike.
I took the shot to show how the contrast between old and new buildings, something I'm increasingly interested in. I like the idea of modern glass structures contrasting with traditional architecture and Liverpool is one of the best places to shoot this sort of subject.

Steve, any idea as to what the modern glass structure is? Certainly there seems to be a trend to fill the trad docklands with buildings that don't always blend in - well in my opinion anyway.
From a photographic viewpoint it has spoilt the classic view of the Cunard and Liver buildings

Mike,
I believe it is both office and residential property and it is quite stunning close up. Reflection shots in its windows are particularly effective close up.
