A photo taken taken in that great photo hunting ground of the Dinorwic Quarries. I was attracted by the tree in the sun in such a hostile environment against the large slate wall of an incline.

Well worth a neg and print. I went there many years ago and a tree would and does stand out in such an apparently hostile environment. In places it can look like the surface of the Moon. Difficult to believe that "green Wales" is all around you
