These prints were made from one of the first rolls of film that I put through a Bronica SQ camera, that I bought about 10 years ago. I always wanted one and digital enabled me to do so, as the secondhand market filled with them. :-)
A bit of a heavy beast, that really requires a tripod. Taken using the standard 80mm lens that it comes with, in London Docklands area, near to where I used to live for 20 years... long before they even thought about the Olympics coming there. My version was accidentally printed using a 50mm enlarger lens, hence the soft edges; which I preferred after using the 'correct' 80mm lens. Some bleaching back at the top of the print and voila. BobRob's print is a more straight print, but he again removed (the buildings at) the top of the print. Bob subtly split-grade printed his print, with grade 3 1/2 at the bottom and grade 0 overall and at the top of the print. An interesting swap, with two different prints produced. |
