I found the subject for this month's photograph whilst taking pictures at disused World War 2 airbase in Shropshire (I didn't think there were any still standing). In one of the Nissen huts I found the engine looking very much on its own. How long it had been there I had no idea. I liked the lighting with the sun outside trying to get in.

A good find Derek. I too like photographing disused bits and bobs in situ when ever possible.

Both the floor and the wall surfaces all add to the overall look.

Well found! Smile

The scan of your print looks good in the Gallery, Derek. I really like the way the lighting subtly highlights the tyre and some detail of the wreck.

Very nice Derek, I love disused old machinary that looks abandoned, to me, as a lover and restorer of classic vehicles it is sad to see them abandoned and unloved loke this, very well seen and taken

Very nice Derek - even on the computer you can see there is a lot of detail in the shadows.
