A fuel line 'reel' which I spied on a walkabout my local Marina. I had printed it initially on Kentmere VC Select paper and was reasonably happy with the outcome. When a box of Ilford Cooltone RC paper that I had ordered arrived I thought I'd try it and the difference was striking - much more contrasty, which I think suited the metallic subject better. The sepia tone seemed to improve things further, to my eyes.

This is very eye-catching. The metalwork on the reel has come out beautifully, and the blurred background helps focus attention on the subject. Not many people would have spotted the potential for such a successful image.

The print has a lovely luminosity to it.

I love the way you have crafted this print from such a simple subject.
