I really like these three prints of Nunnery Walks. Looking up on Goolgle maps it appears that Nunnery Walks are in the Penrith area. I know the Eden Valley at Wetheral near Carlisle as my late wife grew up there. There are similar interesting walks along the Eden there with sandstone cliffs and Roman caves. I must dig out my negatives of them: perhaps for the December Print Exchange.

If the scans are a good representation of the actual prints, they are printed darker and contrastier than I tend to do but are very effective. I ought to try and leave my comfort zone and print more creatively.

Hi Mike, unfortunately the scans have turned out more "chalk and soot" than the prints.
So the originals have somewhat less contrast and more detail in the highlights and shadows.

The sunlit slab of rock balances the lightness of the sky very well. Again, there is great texture and detail in the shadows.
