I recognized the Art 300 paper even from this scan! Beautiful paper, I got some examples from print exchanges.
Up too now I always was too parsimonious for buying a box.

I like this picture and it shows a great use of the panoramic camera and this print has reminded me that mine hasn't had an airing for a while... And the scan really brings out the texture of Art 300 paper.
Uwe, I too consider a box of Art 300 a 'special buy', and only use it occasionally, with only the 'right' negative, because of its price. Consider, as I have, in buying a smaller sized box of paper. I'm currently enjoying printing 7" x 5" prints on it, which almost makes it affordable!
And Skellum, I'm presuming the lovely tone of the print, that I see on my monitor, is scanner induced? If so, having looked at it as a greyscale image as well, I think the print is screaming out for a bit of toning in maybe strong selenium or light sepia even?

Great composition, absolutely love this swing. The dark mood with vignetted sky just right on this paper.

Thanks Gentlemen.
Oops, Terry- I forgot to mention toning. It was toned in Ilford Selenium Toner 1+10 until the colour shifted. I tone a lot of my prints, so always scan as a colour photo.
I mostly use gloss fibre papers, but felt it might be too 'cheerful' for this. Art 300 is quite textured, so I've also just bought some Matt FB classic for comparison. It's a long time since I used Galerie Matt, which was gorgeous with the right subject.

It truly is a beautiful print IMO.
When I opened the envelope I immediately assumed the print had been selenium toned.
But since skellum didn't mention it in the accompanying letter (and my own toning skills / experience is still limited), I wasn't entirely sure.
The toning in the physical print is a bit more subtle than in the scan, but I did immediately notice it.
It suits the print very well!

It works wonderfully well, especially the way the steps take you on a journey.
