Hi from Blackpool

Hi just found this forum, I used to shoot weddings in the 80's/90's and had my own B/w Colour darkroom in a spare room.
Anyway I gave up weddings and got in to the digital world.

I kept my medium format 6x6 Bronica and all my darkroom equipment, it was stored in my loft, its been up there for 20 years or more.

Now being retired I am getting back in to my medium format and darkroom hobbies, I am in the process of setting up my old darkroom equipment up in my spare room.

Things have moved on since I last did any wet prints so reading all I can online to try to get up to speed with the chemicals that are available .

Flack :)

Welcome back to the dark-side Flack!

Good that you stored your old stuff - used prices have gone up considerably in the last couple of years, from once being sold for pennies 10 years or so ago when digital started taking over.

Have fun, Bob.

Welcome back flack. You had the sense to store your kit away. I sold most of mine to go digital and then started buying it back once the novelty wore off and naturally it has more than doubled what I sold it for.
Anyway welcome back.

Hello Flack and welcome to fadu. 6x6 is such a wonderful format and Blackpool must offer plenty of really great photo op's. It's been a while since I've been and I'd look forward to seeing some of your shots.

I had a friend who studied photography at Blackpool in the 90's. It seemed an excellent course by all accounts.
