I know for a fact that this is going to be good. I don't normally buy many photography books but i'm definitely getting this one.

Iceland-an uneasy calm

Dear all,
A quick update on my Iceland book:

1) The Iceland book/exhibition website:
we have had difficulty getting this picked up on Google crawlers - so now the correct URL for this is now the non-www version - i.e.http://iceland-anuneasycalm.com
Please share.

2) The book is in the binding factory at EBS Verona and expected in the UK for shipping in about 10 days time.

3) the dates for the UK exhibition at The Lightbox are April 23rd to July 3rd 2016.
If interested in coming to the PV OR to the artist talk please let me know.

Other venues are currently being sought. Gallery enquiries are welcome!
Many thanks
Tim

Iceland

My son who has been to Iceland many times has always returned home with spectacular photographs. Whilst he is a damn good photographer, (but not as good as dad, LOL!) he is an amateur so the images should be spectacular from a Pro.

Any idea how much it is likely to be after the offer closes?

Hi John,

I missed this - sorry. Need to check my settings.

The RRP is £55. The launch offer is £45. I don't yet know how long that will stay after launch though. There are a couple of press reviews/articles coming up this month so will hope to keep until then.
I don't know yet what the gallery price will be.

Hi Tim,
Your book is simply beautiful. There are a number of places that I am familiar with but you show them in such lovely light that they look almost new to me.
I need to try your toning techniques, this book is an inspiration.
Thanks
Jon

It looks like a beautiful book Tim,

This may sound greedy, but I hope they don't sell out until I can afford one.
My mom has always wanted to go to Iceland, and will probably never see it with her own eyes due to health reasons.
However I know that she would love to see it through the eyes of an artist.

My copy arrived today. I have rather a lot of books and wasn't going to succumb as I have not been to Iceland, although a fellow camera club member has been a couple of times and brought back some lovely pictures even if they were digital and I couldn't resist.
First look through and am pleased I didn't resist and look forward to looking and reading properly.
Mike
