Have you tried waxing and polishing the print?
Put the fibre print on some paper on the Aga or hot flat plate. Rub on a block of bees wax [they don't mind] till the paper is covered then rub it...

Have used the stuff for ages - but recently in the [cheaper] Agfa ASP 400s guise. Works fab as IR film on bright days .

Why not try Agfa ASP 400s - available online at super cheap prices. Works well for me but not suitable for pushing.

Oh, and Polypan-f for 100asa film too :-)
