I noticed a change in spacing when I switched from Acros 100 to Fomapan 100, which is noticeably thinner than Acros. Spacing with Fomapan is circa 2mm wider.

My usual choice for high(ish) speed film is Tri-X, which I rate at ISO 200 and develop in Rodinal 1:50 for 9 minutes. The speed 'pulling' is on the basis that it gives a more 'scannable' neg....
