thanks for the help, I have emailed Gossen to see if they still service/repair them. It only has 2 buttons, one to turn the meter on. the other is a battery test button.

the condenser lenses that came with the Gnome are 4.25 inch diameter with a focal length of 21 inches. the ones out of the Czech enlarger are 3.75 inches in diameter with a focal length of 19 inches....

the cap with the bulb holder was made from wood!
the condenser lens had cross hairs on it and I used a helios 44M
as a focusing lens.
