Default CineStill 800T 120 film - recall of batch 8010411

Silverprint have issued a warning on Facebook about a specific batch of CineStill 800T 120 format film.

"Recall of 120 Format 800T, Batch #8010411
Attention CineStill Film dealers and photographers:
A portion of 800T 120 rolls from the most recent batch is showing a serious error during finishing. As a precaution all 800T 120 films with batch number “8010411” are being recalled. Through the worldwide pandemic, CineStill has done everything to supply the community with film, utilizing alternative supply chains for finishing. Unfortunately, at least a portion of 800T 120 were rolled with the film incorrectly fastened to the backing paper. This results in images with a heavy red cast. CineStill officially promised making sure that all of the dealers and customers are either refunded or provided fresh film, guaranteeing the quality that is expected from the brand.
CineStill sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience and disappointment, especially since long backorders and Covid delays have made this recent batch very desirable to many. The company has a massive amount of fresh film currently in production to alleviate the current shortage in supply. The finishing issue has been isolated within a single batch. Procedures have been implemented to make future film finishing increasingly reliable. CineStill always stands for nothing less but finest quality for the dealers and customers alike."
