Hi Skellum, are you sure about the border being unadjustable on your LPL? Mine is only 11"x14", but it has that facility, as do my two Hansa Two Bladed Easels.

The following photos are
1. Normal placement of blades while in use.
2. The easel itself with the blades lifted up out of the way.
3. The entire easel flipped over, so this is the underside.

The screw in the top corner are to adjust the borders. The Hansas don't have the screw, but they have the same metal sliding plate so one merely pushes it into the desired position by hand.
