Papers for alternative processes.
I've just started to use Daler Aquafine Smooth for cyanotypes and salt prints and am finding it the best I've discovered so far. It's also readily available and not overly expensive.
The surface is not textured to any great degree, more akin to a matt photo paper, and the resolution of fine detail is better. It handles extremely well when wet, does not curl and dries almost flat.
What papers are you using for alternative processes? I'd be interested to hear what everyone prefers.
Picture of the paper and a cyanotype sample attached.
