The variety of tones in the prints is lovely. Lith, in the hands of someone who knows how to use it, can be very expressive.
I also enjoyed the 'Silence' gallery very much.
I admire your commitment and talent Andrej.
Thank you indeed. Well, sometimes it happens to me, that the best images come when I am not just concentrating making images themselves, just being where I am, trying to be full in the presence of the time and place, watching and listening - and just having the camera and clicking the shutter without worrying too much whether the neg will be perfect or less so... As I said, photography was not the main goal of my journey there...

(But you are right about "printing like a madman" - these were some pretty intensive and long sessions in the darkroom - not rarely ending at 2 or 3 AM... )

I've been very much admiring your interpretation of the Holy Mountain from what I've seen so far and it's nice to see them collected like this.

Also, I didn't know you frequented these parts. Hi!
Cheers, Jonas, I don't know about my interpretation, the Agion Oros is too big for interpreting. And I don't care for analyzing, let's just say that these are my impressions, sometime maybe wishful, of the world that is now near to extinction... To make a true picture of the place today one would have to photograph also the roadworks, buses, 4x4s...

Thank you, Clive... For me it is difficult to pick a favourite.. But looking at the images and carrying them in from of my mind's eye, I still do walk those paths in my memory...
