It's great county and may be the last county going south to have a resemblance to some of the glens in N.E. Scotland which is why I like it

It is said that while overnighting near Derby a few of the clan chiefs in 1745 were told by locals that England became uninteresting from that point onwards so they turned back and the rest is history as they say
and as a direct result many years later Nicola Sturgeon is not PM of Great Britain.

Equally there is just a risk that this last paragraph above was made up by a deranged Jock who walked another 50 miles further south into England and then stayed
