Whilst musing in the dark this morning waiting for stuff to develop I remembered this from way back in my memory. Whilst some prints were washing I did a google and found it.
It's a BBC broadcasted interview with Bill Brandt from 1983.Though I haven't seen it since then I could still hear his voice in my head.

Thanks for posting this, Paul. I had never seen Brandt interviewed, and I have to confess that I had never seen his portraits either. In fact, I never really gave him much thought since the late 1960s or early 70s, when I remember his pebbly beach nudes being featured in
Creative Camera. My interest is very much re-awakened as a result of watching this.
Besides Brandt's voice and demeanour, which are very likeable, the interviewer's voice is memorably grating. Any idea who that was? To his credit, he did manage to get Brand talking about his photos.
