Hi Andrew,

Please excuse a bit of a gush but I think LFFP has been absolutely brilliant- you have found some really good guests and have developed an almost "Test Match Special"* approach to letting the good stuff play out in its own time. The episode with the guy who makes the pinhole cameras out of skulls and stuff is possibly some of the best radio or podcast I've ever heard- I just stopped what I was doing when I was listening to it.

It's also turned me on to the possibilities of large format work in a way that the textbooks don't. I respect that you have to sort-of understand the rules in order to mess about with them, but your guests (Dave Shrimpton especially) bring a sense of anarchic fun to it. Maybe there are more crazier practitioners of large-format photography, on the principle that you have to be fairly single minded to practice it, but yeah- it's dead good. Thanks!

*for those who aren't familiar, TMS is the BBC's veteran live cricket commentary, where 5-day Test Matches are covered ball-by-ball and a remarkable style of broadcasting has evolved... you sort-of have to listen to it!

Hi Andrew. Welcome back! Maybe time to organise a Flatlands meet up sometime?
