Sodium Sulphite
Does sodium sulphite go off over time?
Ferreting around at the back of my darkroom cupboards, I have found an old container 3/4 full of sodium sulphite. It is probably 10+ years old. Will it still work or does it need to be shown the bin ? Martin |

If it's still white it should be fine. I've used sodium sulphite that's over a decade old with no problem.

I doubt that its colour can be use as an indication though. |

Should be fine, if in doubt use it 1-2% solution as a wash aid for prints.
