Default New member from Tyneside

Hello there. I work exclusively in monochrome and have just celebrated 10 years of having a darkroom in the attic.

I have done; colour slides, club competitions, CM and Best of friends yearbook (much missed), lith printing, DPAGB, a local exhibition, Seagull TLR camera (never really got on with it).

I 'do' 35mm, silverprint, Ilford films, Prescysol, Ilford paper (RC), Foma (FB), still life, urban, Benbo tripod, B&W photography magazine (less often nowadays), lectures at my camera club.

I am not a Geordie (I come from Northamptonshire) but have lived on Tyneside for 19 years and intend to stay here until called to the great darkroom in the sky.

Welcome Les,
That's a beautiful part of the World to live and work, especially for a Landscape photographer.

Welcome Les, I also miss BoF and CM - pity Roger couldn't keep it going as it gave one something to work to. Hope to catch up with you some day.

Cheers,

Neil.

Welcome aboard from me too Les. Only been up that way the once with camera: good location within striking distance of some great locations!

Have fun, Bob.

Has to be THE place in the UK for some of the best light. Having recently returned from another pilgramage - I can only say I am jealous for all those that have it on there doorstep!

You are of course very welcome indeed.

Welcome Les. As others have said, the North East is a great photographic location. I suspect we will have a FADU meet there sometime?.
