Thanks very much for the introductions. I'll endeavour to get some prints up here on FADU, as well as contribute in other ways.

Hi Stef,

I'm in Carnoustie and I'm getting a bit fed up photographing everything to death over here. If you have any good locations in Fife you'd care to share, I'd love to hear about them!

Thanks again. Domingo I acquired the GF670W second hand on rangefinderforum otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. Having said that I love the camera. I'm a rangefinder enthusiast. Bruce there are many good locations in and around Fife. The small harbour in the west end of Kinghorn comes to mind. I'm sure you've been to the East Neuk. Where I live in Inverkeithing there is a lot of historical interest, buildings etc. Whenever I think of Carnoustie I think golf.

Stef,

I know the East Neuk quite well but I can't remember much about Kinghorn - maybe just passed through it.

Sent that previous post by accident. That must make me a premature poster. I was going to ask you if there's a wooden jetty at Kinghorn that goes some way out into the Forth? I think I've seen a pic of it and fancy doing a long exposure shot of it.

Thanks photomi7ch. Brock there isn't a wooden jetty at Kinghorn that goes some way out into the Forth.. At the western end at the harbour, the wall is interesting, as are the wooden fisherman's huts. It's well worth a visit if you're down this way. However, there is an interesting wooden pier near Laings Bay North Queensferry. It's called Gov'y pier, and was apparently used during the second world war. It's situated about 50 yards offshore now and is utilised by the local birds. I visit periodically but have never been satisfied with the results. I keep trying though. This pier is well worth a visit. It's on the coastal path between North Queensferry and inverkeithing.
