IN cassette developing

y e a r s and y e a r s ago I remember reading that Polaroid films could be processed IN the cassette.

Does anyone else remember this

The Polaroid system involved a 'processing unit'. The cassette was closed inside where it was protected from light. It was then wound out through a set of processing chemicals, and wound back in.
