Default Loading wet film

Having processed a couple of rolls of Ilford Delta 120 earlier to day, and hung them up to dry, I decided that they could do with further soaking to reduce the blue stain that had not been completely cleared.

It reminded me of a tip for loading film on damp or sticky plastic reels that is worth passing on; do it underwater. Just immerse film, and reels in a bowl of water and wind on in the normal way, the take-up will be effort free.

Now who is going to be the first to tell me I should be using those dreadful stainless steel reels?
