Default LIP - any members here?

http://www.londonphotography.org.uk/

Any members of this forum who are also members of London Independent Photography? I've just rejoined after a lapse of membership - having attended my local group (Greenwich) a few times they are a wonderful group of enthusiastic photographers.

BTW you don't have to be in London to join or form a satellite group.

I came across them maybe six months ago as they needed an editorial shot for the Third Floor Gallery in Cardiff. Keep meaning to look back into it as the satellite concept is interesting.

LIP is one of the websites I visit regularly. If I lived down there I would probably join.

Les, as I said you don't have to live 'down here', consider forming your own satellite group. BTW their magazine is IMO one of the most interesting photography mags I've seen.

Thanks for the invite Robert - Ruislip is a little out the way for me but hope we can meet up some time - perhaps at the LIP exhibition?

Hope so - may see you at the Greenwich group too. For other FADU members this page introduces the London Satellite Groups: http://www.londonphotography.org.uk/satellites/about/

All the best!

All of the satellite groups are close to London. A group based on Tyneside is an interesting idea! Not likely to happen though as my job takes up so much of my time and energy.
