Peak Enlarging Focuser No. 2000 Model 1
I have just located my Peak focus finder.
The one with the swivel eyepiece, No 2000 Model 1 When I stopped darkroom work a good few years ago my gear was safely stored all around the house. I am still finding bits and bobs in the most unlikely places. Has anyone ever dismantled one of these to give the optics a good clean? The three screws around the eyepiece just loosen the focusing sleeve, but there are three screws at the lower end of the eyepiece that I have not touched yet. Does anyone have any experience of undoing these and presumably lifting the eyepiece out of the mounting. I am wondering if I will knock anything out of adjustment. Any pitfalls or snags with what I am thinking of doing? Cheers. |
