Default Greetings from Australia

I've made a couple of posts and have been gently reminded that I have not yet introduced myself -apologies.
I'm a working photographer and most of my work these days is, of commercial necessity, digital. I do still do personal stuff on film - I own five film cameras (Nikon and Bronica) and I have a fully functional darkroom. For many years I printed colour and mono - today it is just mono.
I have always used Ilford and Kodak films and Agfa and Ilford papers. I was an early convert to RC multi-contrast papers. I've tried many different "soups" over the years and still use mostly D76 for films. I process prints in a roller processor dry-to-dry using Ilford RT2000 chemicals - I've long ago got over seeing the image appear under red light! The only thing I use trays for are toning.
I have an particular interest in the history of chemical-based subtractive colour photography.
Cheers
John M

Hi John and officially welcome to FADU. That's a pretty impressive pedigree you have got there in terms of experience and interests.

I think you'll like it here

Hi John and welcome to FADU, I find it hard to believe anybody can get over seeing the image appear in the tray, and it is my favorite part of the darkroom, I hate waiting for prints to come out of a roller transport, though I do have one.
