Thanks all for the warm welcomes. Thanks all for the advice too. Unfortunately I couldn't see the replies to my intro for some reason. I was checking too, but it showed no replies until I checked today. I went ahead and bought some chemistry from Process Supplies. I went for the Tetenal Black & White Kit. Hope I've not made a mistake!! I am not one of those people who ask advice and go off and do my own thing anyway. I just didn't see your replies.

I'm not sure when I am going to get a chance to do any processing, or even shooting for that matter. But, you can expect questions when I do eventually break out the changing bag!

Anyone got any experience with Tetenal? Anything to look out for?

Many thanks again for the replies.

You can't go wrong with Tetenal, one of the biggest nakers of photo chemistry in Germany, I believe that they make a lot of the Ilford and Kodak chemistry for them, plus for a lot more firms, such as Fotospeed, made to their specs, I have used Tetenal stff in the past and never been dissapointed, good place to start

Hi Garry. It can take a couple (or three...) days for your first post to appear on the forum as a protection against spammers. During that time, only yourself and administrators could see your posts.

Getting an all-in-one kit is a good idea for a beginner - that way you just follow the instructions from a single source instead of having to get your information from all over. When you get a bit of experience and are comfortable with things you can start experimenting.

Cheers, Bob.

Cheers Bob. It's not a problem, just me being impatient!

Thanks again,

Garry
