Default Hello from Stratford-upon-Avon

Hi, my name is Martin Aislabie

I found my way here via an e-mail from Barry

I recognise most of the names here from APUG

I took up photography while at University (30+ years ago) when trying to record details of an experiment and decided photographs were the best way of doing this.

The first trip to the darkroom had me hooked and I have never looked back.
I still get a buzz when I turn on the lights and see a new negative for the first time.

Having started with 35mm (Olympus OM1 & 2), I now own a 5x4 Ebony (I just love the smell of the wood).

I have a temporary darkroom in what my wife insists is the Utility Room

My interest is the B&W Landscape – particularly of the North Yorkshire Dales where I grew up.

Look forward to meeting you all at some time in the future

Regards

Martin
