Default Greetings to all!

Hello to all at FADU!
I´m an amateur photographer who started 47 years ago in Montevideo taking family vacation pictures with my father´s Wirgin Presto. I had my own wet lab at home for many years until I moved when married for the first time. Later on, I decided to have it again and that´s where I am now. I Have two enlargers, one for 35mm only and the other for any neg size up to 6x9, plus all the stuff needed to make my own prints. I´m now waiting for my next vacation to put everything in order to start again. BTW, I´m mostly shooting B&W in 35mm and MF with some old cameras from my collection.
Cheers
Ernesto

Welcome to FADU, Ernesto. You may be a newcomer to FADU but with 47 years experience you are no newcomer to the kind of photography we do here at FADU.

Thanks gentlemen for the warmth messages I received.
I´ve spent 47 years pushing the shutter button, but unfortunately not as long developing and printing, and that is what I want to do from now and on.
I started collecting camera without being aimed to do it, about six years ago when I started looking for some old cameras I wanted to shoot with, eg. the Contax II, Voigtländer Vitomatics and some others. In fact I never thought of being a collector rather than a camera user, but to be honest I´m both.
I guess that many of you can recall the “magic” involved when your first image came out form the developing tray. That “magic” is what I´m starting to recover.
My next project is to replace the lighting of my big enlarger to a LED based system just to avoid temperature problems and unevenness lighting. As soon as I have something new, I´ll post it.
Again, thank you!
Cheers
Ernesto
