Default Hello

Hello,

Stuart here from Allonby in West Cumbria. Im actually a 'newbie' in film as i am a regular digital user. However something about film pulls me towards it, I dont know what it is but im going to enjoy finding out.

I enjoy B&W as well as messing with HDR. I have recently converted a small room into a dark room and I have a fresh set of kit given to me as a present for christmas.

In film I own a Canon 500n and a EOS 1N, which is heavy! and I do have a critch in my neck as there is NO SCREEN on the rear of the cameras!

Any way that is me. Hello agin!

Stuart Neale

Welcome to FADU Stuart. I am sure we can give you most of the answers you might need and if I may say so, we have now built up a reasonable store of threads that is begining to form a store of knowledge worth dipping into.

Mike

If it is a viewing screen you desire on the back of a camera, might I suggest a Linhof or Walker Titan. Or if you prefer a TLR, perhaps a - You won't be complaining about the weight after that

Hello Stuart and welcome to FADU. The EOS 1n is a great camera and after a while you will get used to the weight I still use one occasionally but my wife uses them all the time and walks with three EOS 1n bodies + associated various lenses in her back pack
Enjoy FADU and getting to grips with film.
