Default Fuji, GA645zi LCD issue

Hi, I have Fuji GA645zi and the LCD display is not working properly.
In fact, this model has this LCD issue pretty often...
and, Can anybody help to repair this, please?

(I'll not be capable to fix this by myself...and just hope to send my camera to get repaired...)

It's a real shame when this happens to this model of camera.

I have the same model and love it, so I treat it carefully when opening and closing the back.

I've read mixed messages about getting it repaired. A lot say they found no one to fix it, with one or two saying that they had, but it was expensive. It would be worth doing a search on this forum.

Let us all know how you get on.

Good luck.

I had this camera for some period of time. This problem arises because of the ribbon cable which bypasses the hinge.
You see most of the information in the finder, except the ISO. I learned how the change the ISO blind: Switch to the highest or lowest ISO and count the clicks of the wheel.

It is not the only of and advanced camera which has such kind of weak point. Once I had a Leica minilux zoom: The ribbon cable to the lens (aperture setting) broke.

Experiencing such things I relaized how beautiful old mechanical cameras are. I think my Rolleiflex may be repaired 50 years in the future.

It seems at least one company has mastered the repair of these, but they're in Poland. Couldn't find anything similar in USA. It is a fairly expensive fix, but only you know how important the camera is to you personally. If you scroll down the comments at least one person from USA has had a price quoted.
Good luck.

I've just been watching the video link given by Skellum. Turns out it's a bit harder than I thought it was... But fingers crossed, mine will last a good while longer with careful handling.

I've also found a few more links, that I'm bookmarking for future reference. Note that some are in Polish and will need translating. Happy viewing and reading:
