It is interesting to me that Agfa did not advertise Rodinal as either
High Acutance or Fine Grain in their publication of 1910.

The link above takes you to a booklet of Agfa formulas. The only way they describe their developers are, suitable for over exposed, suitable for under exposed etc with recommendations for corrective use.
No mention of grain, only negative density.

The booklet is Copyright of The Berline Analine Works 1910.

I doubt very much if they used the terms Acutance or fine grain over a century ag, but that makes no difference we use the terms now and an acutance developer is what Rodinal is - no more no less!
