Default Another pinhole camera - Stenoflex

Just got an e-mail about this. I don't know any more about it; but it could be worth watching.

I seems like a more traditional and economic approach than Ilfords. There are several youtube video's on it.

I agree. It's not just a thing of beauty.

Seems to be a bit of a resurgence in this mode of photography.

The finest 'pinholography' that I've seen is by Martha Casanave, particularly her coastal work around California.

Marthas work is superb. I got her pinhole book "Explorations Along an Imaginary Coastline" you probably have it Trevor but if you dont pick up a copy, the pictures are superb and the book is made to a very high quality

Thanks for the recommendation Martin. No, I don't have the book, but I'll add it to my Christmas wish list I first came across her work some years ago in View Camera magazine, simply beautiful.

I wonder how many buyers are purchasing the Harman pinhole as an intro to large format, and how many actually want a lenseless camera as such. I thought of it for the first reason, then realised I could buy something like a Century Graphic for £50 more, with useful features like a lens, variable shutter speeds and apertures, and at least some movements.

But I haven't actually bought either yet ...

I did. I got an MPP 5x4 with half a dozen DDS, 150mm xenar, tripod and carrying bag for the camera-all for 150 nicker. Very happy bunny.
