Default Last minute round-up ....

Weekend Information

The weekend is not far away now so here are a few 'domestic' items:

Weather

According to the BBC's forecast we can expect light cloud in the Tintagel area, and at the moment no rain is expected. This may play into our favour if we visit Trebarwith Strand for beach photography, where overcast light is preferable.

Getting to Tintagel and the Camelot Castle Hotel

Follow the road signs to Tintagel. When you enter Tintagel head for Tintagel Castle / Tintagel Head (westerly direction) on the B3263. After a short drive though Tintagel you will see the Camelot Castle Hotel, park in front of the hotel. If you are arriving by helicopter use the helicopter landing pad Be very careful - if you miss the Camelot Castle Hotel you will end up in the Atlantic

Neil's mobile phone number

All who are coming should have my mobile number and I confirm that it remains the same. If you have lost it or need it again send me a PM and I will supply the number. However, please remember there will be some signal blind spots in the Tintagel and surrounding areas, if I am on a beach somewhere making images it is likely I will be out of touch.

Meeting up

As usual we will be gathering at the base hotel (Camelot Castle) from early evening onward on Friday. The best place to find people is in the bar

For those who may arrive later in the evening we will make sure there will some of us in the bar to welcome you. Please remember anyone can come along, not only those who are staying at the hotel, and all will be made welcome.

Bring along some work

At these events we normally have an informal print sharing evening sometime over the weekend, so please bring some of your images to share with those there.

Anything else ??

Just raise it here or send me a PM.

I look forward to seeing you all there and have a safe journey.

Neil.

The weather is still looking good - and warmer too for our weekend. So pack plenty of film

I am aiming to be at the hotel around late afternoon.

Wrong I'm afraid; two ladies will be there to keep us in check In any event that sort of thing would not be tolerated at a FADU gathering
