Default Fine art Nude

This site contains scenes of tasteful artistic nudity and might offend.

Kenneth,

Please be aware that one of the links on the communityzoe site has a virus threat.

Nothing to offend there - nice artistic work. Certainly not T&B

Neil.

Which link Barry? Are you are using AVG by any chance? I stopped using it largely 'cos it's heuristics are over-sensitive and it gives far too many false-positives.

Sorry Barry. Don't have these problems with a Mac so did not know. I have been an active member of the site for a couple of years and not experienced a problem

Yes AVG Bob, it could be a false positive? Unfortunately I was just randomly clicking away this morning whilst waiting to back up the forum database. Apologies for any worries Kenneth.

AVG is good in general, but as I say, it does have a habit of flagging problems that do not exist which can be confusing. I found that you can usually tell it's the heuristic algorithm that has flagged a problem 'cos it will say something like "Trojan Generic_12 found" rather than a specific exploit name and if you click on the link for more details on their web site it does not find any details for that alert.

Of course, for most people it's a case of better safe than sorry...

Personally - I am with Kenneth on that one... As a Mac user I don't usually worry too much, perhaps I should!

If you use a Mac then you should be less worried, but not completely carefree; there are OS-X exploits about although they are far fewer in number. Some exploits use the web browser rather than attack via the OS but Internet Explorer running on a Windows platform is usually the target there, though there have been attacks on Firefox and Opera. As Opera increasingly becomes the de-facto Mac web browser you can expect to see more attempts to use it for nefarious purposes. Such attempts as phishing and identity theft are just as dangerous for Mac users as Windows users so you still need to keep your wits about you.
