Default Hello I'm pleased to meet you.

Hi my name is Bill and I had to make an anagram as my user name. My namesake (or at least one) is apparently also a resident of Glasgow, though I've yet to meet him. I enjoy using old TLRs folders, etc. but also, dare I say it, digital stuff. Here's a tip for fellow retro enthusiasts.

If you own a digital camera, use it instead of an exposure meter. Then you can check composition, filters and exposure, and even (to some extent) depth of field, before exposing any film. It's almost like a polaroid back!

Happy shooting, Bill Ward, sorry, birdwall.

Welcome aboard Bill.

You can't beat an old 120 folder: big negatives and it fits in your pocket!

Have fun, Bob.
