Default Hi from Belper Derbyshire

Hi all,

Just to introduce myself, I live in Belper Derbyshire and love photography. Always have had a camera which started with Brownie 127 which I still have. I have tried digital but became very disillusioned very quickly.

I have returned completly to film over the past 5 years and have just recently been shown how to print in the darkroom. I was blown away by the results. I use a Nikon F5, Mamiya RB67 and just recently purchased a Voitlander Vito II 35mm and have had good results from the first film

I live in Belper Derbyshire and love old industrial sites, steam railways and any old WW2 military sites.

Well thats me......

Rob.

Hello Rob and welcome to FADU. I enjoyed reading your introduction and it is good to see you here and returning to film. Do use the threads to find out more and post away if you have any questions to ask. I look forward to seeing some your images in due course.

Neil.

Welcome Rob, I doubt that you have a shortage of subjects in your part of the country.

Welcome Rob. You've come back to film with a vengeance! Your current range is a quantum leap from the 127 Brownie but which in the right light conditions still produces cracking negs and prints.

The wife took some pics of me with a 127 and I look fantastic in them. Maybe the fact that it was 1971 contributed a little to the result :
