interesting piece of kit, keith.

is it just for prints or does it have the ordinary paterson spirals for films too?

They were designed to develop colour prints at home Jonas and were the most basic units, with later ones and other manufacturers producing them with motor units, as this on is totally manually operated.

Otheres may say that they have used them for film (anyone?), but that's not what they were made to do.

This doesn't look as if the water bath is thermostatically controlled but if it's of any help to those living close enough and thinking of trying RA4 printing "on the cheap" then processing can be done at 20C which can be maintained easily indoors most of the year and in the depths of winter top ups with heated water will maintain 20C

and along with a fish tank heater you can keep even more control on the temperature.

sure, the cheapest mostly go just a bit over 32 but it can be a reassuring assist.
